Reon Energy has Completed Various Solar Projects in Pakistan

Reon Energy is a solar brand that represents a pathway to a clean energy future that will not only allow businesses to drive their energy systems towards greater reliability but will also benefit people and the planet.

There can be a fundamental change in society through an interconnected loop, particularly between the business world, government, and the financial sector.

Within the boundaries of the country, Reon Energy has accomplished thousands of projects and solved the problems of many industries. The three best ones are listed below:

Telecom Industry

Operators of telecom towers spend 75-80% of their operational costs on energy, and that could rise to 85-90% in case of low grid coverage. In large part, the energy challenge is driven by the increasing demand for data and the cost of data centers.

The telecom operator's carbon footprint will also increase as its energy consumption grows. By using energy-efficient technologies to lower the cost of operations and reduce carbon emissions, operations can be made more efficient and carbon emissions can be reduced.

By delivering up to 99% network availability, our telecom energy infrastructure solutions maximize OPEX (operational expenditure) savings by reducing consumption and emissions.

Unilever Pakistan

As part of a joint partnership with Unilever, Reon developed a 30kW pilot project at Unilever's Tea factory site in Khanewal. The purpose of this project was to demonstrate the company's commitment to clean energy.

As a result of commissioning and evaluation, the pilot project proved to be a success to reduce the carbon footprint by 28 tonnes during the first year, as the brand had hoped. Due to these successes, Unilever signed three additional projects with capacities of 200, 100, and 40 kW at its factories in the country.

Amreli Steel

In order to meet the increasing energy needs of Amreli Steel, a 4.43-megawatt solar plant was commissioned in 2021. A 2.5-megawatt project is in the process of being commissioned. According to estimates, the project will generate 10,891 MWh of energy and reduce carbon emissions by approximately 6,697 tonnes per year.

According to SOPs defined by the Government of Pakistan, Reon adhered strictly to employee welfare policies.

Final Verdict

Reon leads the region's transition to clean energy through a new generation of energy companies. We are experts in solar energy, battery storage across a broad range of applications, electric vehicle charging, as well as digitalization of energy assets leading to smart energy systems.
